Romeo
- Rat Terrier
- 19 years old
Romeo was loved for many years but unfortunately his family lost their home and had to relocate to a place that doesn’t allow dogs. He is supposedly 19, but acts like a 13 year old. Right now Romeo is in pretty good health and is only taking one medication for his liver maintenance. We are looking to help cover his medication and basic care!

When you find a pet sitter who loves your dogs as much as you do, you've hit the jackpot! 🐾💖 Little Oldies is lucky to have this amazing pet sitter and friend who treats every dog like family!
Watchful Eyes
Every time someone heads out the front door, this is what they see—dogs wondering where the heck they're going!
Look At Romeo Go!
Some pups, like Romeo, take a little longer to trust and don’t show their true personalities right away. While some are eager to share their love, others remain on guard. But with patience, love, and understanding, these pups learn that they can trust again. When that bond forms, it’s an incredible feeling. Romeo is finally starting to trust his Little Oldies Caretakers, and we’re so excited to see his unique personality shine! Look at how happy he is—he’s truly found his place. We love this sweet old man, and it’s clear he loves it there too!
Romeo's Vibe
If Romeo were a person, he'd be a grumpy little old man with a newspaper, telling the chickens to settle down and enjoying the breeze in his hair. But deep down, he’s just a cuddle bug full of mush.
Romeo has claimed his bed!
Romeo has claimed this bed as his, it does look like it fits in perfectly! If any of the other pups sleep in it, he just stands there and looks sad!
Helping with groceries
This is Romeo making sure I unpacked all the groceries!
Loving life as usual!
Romeo is doing great and loving life as usual! Still enjoying his favorite activities and keeping everyone smiling.
Romeo's settling in!
Romeo is the newest addition to Little Oldies and is still working on settling in. He loves butt rubs and does a little dance when you scratch his bum with both hands. He is really starting to trust us with coming over and getting head scratches. He loves to be outside and is curious about the chickens. He has very long legs and a cute little body. It’s almost like he is walking on stilts! He is the sweetest boy ever and Little Oldies is happy he found his way to them!
